Welcome to the home of AutoTrim Design, London. We are part of a North American network of AutoTrim locations and as such, are able to take advantage of the benefits that membership has to offer.
With a history in automotive striping, trim and lettering, we have diversified to include much more. Wide format, digital print has empowered AutoTrim Design of London to compete in a wider chunk of the market with experience in large signage, displays, vehicle wraps, etc.
We still offer service to walk-in customers for things like graphics, paint protection film, residential and commercial tint, etc.
Following is a breakdown of some of our more common work.


Automotive striping and graphics.

From OEM logos and graphics to custom striping and graphics according to your taste, we do it all. In most cases we can match any existing vinyl colours, or completely remove and replace vinyl according to your specifications.
Some of our most popular sellers are Factory-looking graphics, which have been trimmed, changed and sometimes designed from scratch. Many of these options are sold through London area dealerships as well.

Paint Protection Film

Paint protection film, sometimes known as 'Stoneguard' is a durable, clear film applied to wind-bearing surfaces of the exterior of a vehicle. This layer of protection guards against stone chips and abrasive road dirt.
The obvious and most common application is on the vehicles hood. However, more vehicles are being produced with painted bumpers, mirrors, valences, trim, etc. There are standard-piece kits available, but custom applications are possible upon request. Please call for a quote.

Residential and Commercial Window films

Most of the window film work we do is automotive tint, whether in the shop or offsite locally. However, we do offer both residential and commercial tint service for flat applications. Rather than block out natural lighting completely with window coverings, tint can dramatically lower the amount of light and glare entering the room, as well as provide a measure of UV protection for both people and furniture. Tint also reduces glare from external light sources.
Tint is rated according to the percent of light allowed to pass through the film. The commonly accepted legal limit for automotive applications in the province of Ontario and its municipalities is 35%, which is approximately what is available from factory on most new vehicles.

If you're looking for an alternative to tint, we also offer frosted and etched glass films. Both are fairly opaque, offering only a silhouette when backlit. This is often used for outside glass in windows and doors.

Dash Trim and Mouldings

For customers seeking to enhance the appearance of their interior, we also do dash trim kits. The actual kits are order only and subject to availability, so please call ahead if interested. The kits are applied over existing bezels, so there is no need for concern over the original equipment.

Mouldings are the protective strips, often colour-matched from factory, that run along the bodyside panels of a vehicle. They help to prevent other drivers from ruining your vehicles paint with a scratch or dent from their own vehicle. We can install new mouldings or remove and replace existing mouldings as per the customers request. Black and/or chrome mouldings are often added to a freshly painted vehicle that was previously bare in order to protect the new finish.
